Ultraviolet (UV) sterilization is a dual-function technology that provides both continuous protection and the possibility of complete sterilization periodically. • Continuous Decontamination: During normal use, a UV lamp placed in the air circulation line or humidity tray inside the incubator continuously decontaminates the circulating air and humidification water. This provides immediate and proactive protection against contaminants that may enter when the door is opened and closed. • Complete Sterilization Cycle: A 24-hour UV mode, which can be operated when no samples are inside the incubator, allows for complete sterilization of the internal surfaces of the device. This is an ideal solution for thorough cleaning between two different experiments or after a potential contamination.

Ultraviolet (UV) sterilization is a dual-function technology that provides both continuous protection and periodic full sterilization. With these features, it aims to minimize the risk of contamination in CO₂ incubators.

During normal operation, a UV lamp positioned in the incubator’s air circulation pathway or humidity tray continuously decontaminates the circulating air and the humidification water.
