Esco VIVA® Animal Bedding Change Station

With the VIVA® Bedding Disposal Animal Workstation (VBD), cage cleaning and bedding disposal procedures become simpler, safer, and more productive. This mobile workstation, specifically designed for animal research laboratories, protects personnel and the laboratory environment from exposure to allergens and unpleasant odors. The VBD also features a height-adjustable stand that allows the work surface height to be set according to user preference, minimizing strain during repetitive tasks. An integrated waste container enables direct disposal of waste materials within the work area.

Esco VIVA® Double-Sided Animal Workstation

The Esco VIVA® Double-Sided Animal Workstation (VDA) provides the highest level of user comfort while delivering optimal allergen, microbial, and product protection with the lowest energy consumption and noise levels.
The Esco VDA operates at a low noise level of 53 dBA, enhancing operator comfort and preventing laboratory animals from becoming agitated during cage transfer. It is the only single-cage transfer unit with knee clearance on both sides, allowing two operators to work comfortably at the same time. The internal work area of the VDA is divided into two sections by an air curtain, enabling the transfer of animals from a dirty area to a clean area.

The Esco VIVA® Universal Animal Workstation (VA2) uses two independently balanced ULPA filtration modules to protect animals in the work area from airborne particles and environmental contamination. It also protects the operator from exposure to allergens and other potentially hazardous substances. The workstation employs an airflow recirculation design comparable to a Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet.
