With advanced technology SY-LAB Programmable (Stepwise) Controlled Freezing devices, biological materials are frozen step by step within a defined program. Parameters such as how many degrees per minute cooling will occur, how many minutes the process will take, and how long the system will wait for the cold to penetrate the cells are entered into the program. This allows cells to be frozen according to the durability of each biological material, and later thawed under controlled conditions when needed. In this way, the viability of biological materials is preserved at the highest level.

Controlled (Stepwise) freezing devices with liquid nitrogen supply perform operations reliably, quickly, and stably. With our SY-LAB devices, user-friendly interfaces, reporting screens, sample and chamber sensors allow validated systems to generate reports, review records, document past patient data, and record every stage of the process. With user authorizations, it is also possible to log which personnel performed which operations and to restrict which operations users can perform.


The entire process report can be documented into a patient file. These files can include patient information, doctor details, personnel involved, protocol information, process steps, possible alarm conditions, and freezing protocol graphs, all exportable in PDF format for documentation.
