Esco Airstream® Class I Biosafety Cabinet
Esco’s Class I Biosafety Cabinet has the most basic and primitive design among all biosafety cabinets available today. The airflow entering the cabinet contains aerosols generated during microbiological procedures. It then passes through a filtration system that captures all airborne particles and contaminants. Finally, the clean and decontaminated air is exhausted from the cabinet. The filtration system generally consists of a pre-filter and a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter.

Sentinel™ Gold Microprocessor Control System
The Sentinel™ Gold microprocessor control system instantly alerts the user to potential risks with audible and visual alarms.
All safety information is displayed clearly and understandably on a single screen.
The control panel is centered and designed with a downward angle to provide easy access and comfortable viewing.
The selectable Quick Start mode enables the unit to be ready for operation in a short time, increasing operational efficiency.
Hinged Window
The hinged window design can be opened up to 90º to allow easy access to the work area.
The 8 mm thick, UV-resistant polycarbonate window provides high mechanical strength and long service life.
The gasketed window structure ensures airtight sealing, enabling higher safety and controlled airflow.
Work Surface Structure
The work surface is made of 18-gauge SS 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 1.2 mm (0.05”) and a 4B surface finish.
The recessed area in the center is designed to contain spills and prevents accidentally spilled liquids from spreading into the work area.
Energy-Saving DC ECM Motor
Energy-saving DC ECM motor technology provides approximately 70% energy savings compared to conventional AC motors.
Airflow is maintained steadily despite building voltage fluctuations, with no compromise in performance.
Thanks to Standby Mode, power consumption is reduced by a further 60%, taking energy efficiency to the highest level.
Isocide™ Antimicrobial Powder Coating
Isocide™ antimicrobial powder coating eliminates 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours after exposure, keeping hygiene levels consistently high.
